Early Black Wattle

A fast-growing tree that grows well past 3 meters, the Early Black Wattle is heavily used for rapid privacy screening and land rehabilitation. It has dark green, glossy, fern-like leaves and dark bark, which beautifully offset the intensely fragrant, bright yellow flower clusters that appear in late winter. It acts as an incredibly important environmental asset, fixing nitrogen into the soil and providing essential habitat for local wildlife.
