Lightwood

Lightwood is a long-lived, hardy native tree that grows between 5 and 10 meters tall, closely resembling the Blackwood tree. It produces cream-colored flower balls during summer, a time when most other wattles have finished blooming, providing an important out-of-season food source for insects. It is exceptionally tough, handles harsh, dry conditions well, and is ideal for shade or acreage windbreaks.
