Black Wattle

The Black Wattle is a very fast-growing tree reaching heights well over 6 to 15 meters, characterized by its rough, dark bark and feathery olive-green foliage. It produces large, intensely sweet-scented pale yellow flowers in late spring and early summer. It is heavily utilized for quick shade, shelterbelts, and soil erosion control on larger properties due to its vigorous growth and ability to thrive in poor soils.
