Honey-pots

Honey-pots is a small, ground-hugging native shrub that grows less than 30cm high, featuring sharp, dull green leaves. It gets its unique common name from the tiny, translucent, tube-like flowers that cluster hidden along its old wood in winter, which overflow with a thick, intensely sweet, edible nectar. It naturally thrives as an understory plant in cool, shaded, well-drained spots.
