Black Sheoak

The Black Sheoak is an incredibly tough, upright native tree growing 5 to 10 meters high, showing off dark, deeply fissured bark and fine, dark-green needle-like foliage that creates a relaxing, whispering sound in the wind. Female trees produce small woody cones, which are an absolutely vital food source for native cockatoos and parrots. It is extremely drought, frost, and wind-hardy, making it a stellar structural choice for large boundaries and windbreaks.
