Forest Oak

The Forest Oak is an elegant, upright tree reaching 5 to 15 meters high, celebrated for its corky bark and drooping, fine weeping foliage that turns a beautiful deep burgundy-bronze color in winter. It produces small woody cones that attract native seed-eating birds like parrots and black cockatoos. It handles partial shade as an understory tree or full sun in well-drained soil, making it a gorgeous ornamental or screening specimen.
