Berry Saltbush

Berry Saltbush is a low-growing, mat-forming groundcover that remains well under 30cm in height but spreads widely up to 1.5 meters across. It features small, oblong, grey-green leaves and produces tiny, bright red fleshy berries that are an excellent food source for ground-dwelling native birds and lizards. It is an exceptional choice for stabilizing soil, binding steep embankments, or suppressing weeds in hot, dry, neglected spaces.
