Lemon Myrtle

Lemon Myrtle is a highly prized native tree or large shrub that grows from 3 to 8 meters tall, featuring dense, glossy green foliage and fluffy white flower clusters in summer. Its leaves contain the highest natural source of citral, releasing an incredibly intense, refreshing lemon aroma when crushed, and are heavily harvested for bush tucker cooking, teas, and essential oils. It makes a beautiful, fragrant privacy hedge when planted in a warm, sunny garden bed or a large protected patio pot.
