'Splendens' Bottlebrush

Splendens is widely considered one of the finest red bottlebrushes, growing as a dense, vigorous shrub between 3 and 4 meters tall with an elegantly weeping habit. It produces a spectacular, incredibly profuse display of large, brilliant, luminescent crimson-red flower spikes that look like glowing brushes. It is highly drought-hardy, adapts to almost any soil, and creates an absolute showstopper of a privacy screen or feature tree.
