Prostrate Dampiera

The Prostrate Dampiera is an extraordinary, completely flat ground-hugging perennial that stays well under 10cm in height but spreads vigorously to form a dense, weed-suppressing mat over a meter wide. In spring and summer, it puts on a breathtaking display as the entire green carpet becomes completely smothered in true, intense, electric-blue flowers. It loves full sun and sharp drainage, making it a showstopping choice for trailing over rockeries, stone retaining walls, or hanging pots.
