Tasman Flax-lily

The Tasman Flax-lily is the largest and most robust of the flax-lilies, forming a grand, dense structural clump of wide, deep-green leathery leaves up to 1 meter tall. It shoots up large, striking sprays of soft blue flowers in spring, followed by massive, highly decorative oblong violet-blue berries that persist for months. It thrives naturally in cool, moist, deeply shaded positions, making it an excellent option for a low understory privacy boundary or a lush feature inside a shaded pot.
