Fern-leaf Hop Bush

The Fern-leaf Hop Bush is an attractive, highly distinct native shrub growing 1 to 2 meters tall, heavily prized for its unique foliage. It features small, deeply divided, sticky green leaves that look exactly like tiny fern leaves or boronia foliage, offering great texture. In winter and spring, female plants produce clusters of highly decorative, papery, multi-winged seed pods that mature into a brilliant reddish-purple color, forming a gorgeous low privacy screen or border feature.
