Desert Hop Bush

The Desert Hop Bush is an exceptionally tough, woody inland shrub growing roughly 1.5 to 2.5 meters high with a neat, rounded growth habit. It features fine, narrow, resinous green leaves and produces massive numbers of papery, multi-winged seed capsules that turn a stunning, vibrant crimson-red as they ripen in the sun. Naturally adapted to arid zones, it is virtually bulletproof against extreme heat, severe drought, and heavy frost, making it perfect for tough, exposed garden beds.
