Narrow-leaf Hop Bush

This magnificent subspecies is a fast-growing, erect native shrub or small tree growing between 3 and 4 meters tall, featuring highly elegant, ultra-narrow, line-like glossy green leaves. In spring and summer, it produces spectacular cascading clusters of papery, three-winged seed pods that shift in color from pale lime-green to a rich, deep burgundy-red. Its tall, narrow, and bushy footprint makes it one of the absolute best native plants for establishing a quick visual privacy screen along a fence line.
