'Summer Time Blue' Emu Bush

Summer Time Blue is a spectacular native hybrid shrub that forms a dense, intricately branched, mounding profile about 1.5 to 2 meters tall and wide. It features small green foliage and displays a magnificent, highly prolific exhibition of large, trumpet-shaped mauve-blue flowers that completely cover the plant throughout the warm summer months to attract native bees and honeyeaters. It loves full sun and sharp drainage, working beautifully as a showy feature hedge or inside deep external containers.
