Mountain Swamp Gum

The Mountain Swamp Gum is a rugged, cold-hardy native tree growing 8 to 15 meters tall, featuring broad, thick green leaves that release a strong, distinct camphorous aroma when crushed. It produces clusters of small white flowers in autumn and develops a rough, persistent bark at the base. It is naturally adapted to high-rainfall, cold, boggy valley floors, making it a premier selection for heavy clay soils, low-lying drainage depressions, and rural zones that receive lots of water.
