Blue Mallee

The Blue Mallee is a robust, highly attractive small tree or multi-stemmed shrub growing 3 to 7 meters high. It features smooth, dark grey bark that sheds in small flakes, topped with an open canopy of beautiful, narrow blue-grey foliage that shimmers in the sunlight. In winter and spring, it produces dense clusters of pale lemon-yellow flowers that feed native birds. It is incredibly drought-hardy and thrives on dry, rocky slopes or sun-baked clay beds where other trees struggle.
