Bundy / Long-leaved Box

The Bundy or Long-leaved Box is a rugged, highly characterful native tree growing 8 to 15 meters high, instantly recognizable by its deeply wrinkled, rough, and fibrous grey bark that covers the trunk and main branches. It features very long, weeping green leaves that smell heavily of eucalyptus when crushed, and bears clusters of small white flowers in autumn. It is exceptionally tough, thriving naturally on dry, stony, and nutrient-poor ridges where it provides vital habitat for local wildlife.
