Pink Ironbark

This spectacularly showy selected cultivar of the Red Ironbark grows into a sturdy specimen between 10 and 15 meters tall, sharing the same deeply furrowed, pitch-black trunk bark as the parent tree. However, it completely distinguishes itself by producing an absolute profusion of large, cascading clusters of brilliant, bright rose-pink flowers throughout winter and spring. It is highly drought and frost-hardy, serving as a premier ornamental feature or screening tree for larger blocks[cite: 23].
