Swamp Mallet

The Swamp Mallet is a fast-growing, exceptionally dense small native tree or multi-stemmed mallee growing 4 to 8 meters tall with a neat, tightly rounded canopy. It features beautiful, smooth reddish-brown bark and an incredibly thick crown of ultra-narrow, linear satin-green leaves, bearing delicate clusters of cream flowers in summer. Uniquely adapted to tough environments, it handles waterlogged clay soils requiring lots of water while remaining highly salt-tolerant[cite: 23].
