The Woolly Tea-tree is an exceptionally hardy, dense native tree growing 3 to 5 meters high, instantly recognized by its small, silver-grey oval foliage covered in a soft, downy woolly coat. In spring and summer, the entire canopy becomes completely blanketed in a massive, spectacular cloud of white blossoms. It excels in waterlogged clay, poorly drained flats, and pond margins receiving lots of water, creating an impenetrable windbreak.
