Rough-barked Honey-myrtle

The Rough-barked Honey-myrtle is a tough, specialized native shrub growing 2 to 3.5 meters high with a dense, rigid growth habit. It features rough bark on its stems, fine green needle leaves, and produces distinct clusters of pale cream-to-pink flowers along its branches in spring. Naturally adapted to high-moisture environments, it thrives in waterlogged soils and heavy clay receiving lots of water, forming a reliable wet-zone screen.
