Rough Mintbush

The Rough Mintbush is a tough, sprawling native shrub growing 50cm to 80cm high and spreading up to a meter across. It features small, rough-textured aromatic green leaves along fine wiry branches, and bears an absolute profusion of small, deep mauve-to-purple two-lipped flowers that completely blanket the canopy throughout spring. It handles extended dry spells well once established in sunny native borders or decorative pots.
