Flat-leaf Bush-pea

The Flat-leaf Bush-pea is an uncommon, highly attractive native shrub growing 1 to 1.8 meters high, heavily distinguished by its unique, broad, wedge-shaped to heart-shaped blue-green leaves that are tightly paired along the stems. In spring, it erupts into a spectacular display of densely clustered bright yellow and deep crimson-maroon pea flowers at the branch tips, making a wonderful asset for dry, sun-baked landscape borders.
