Billy Buttons

Billy Buttons are iconic, highly whimsical native perennial herbs forming a basal clump of narrow, silver-grey woolly leaves under 30cm in height. Throughout spring and summer, they shoot up long, slender unbranched stems up to 60cm tall, each topped with a single, perfectly spherical, head-sized bright golden-yellow flower ball. They are a world favorite for cut flower arrangements, thriving beautifully in low borders or pots.
